SQUIRRELS and RABBITS
Please revise the sound and action for ‘a’ using the sound card that your child brings home today.
OWLS
Please practise the ORT stage 2 words (green) that your child brings home today. Practise as often as you can in order to develop quick recall as this will help to improve fluency when reading.
FOXES and OWLS - Today your child may be issued with a Word Box. Please note, not all children in these groups will bring one home. Word boxes will be assessed on a weekly basis and if your child can blend each word confidently, they will be issued with the next word box. If your child is finding a particular word box difficult then it will be sent home for another week to practise again. TOP TIP – remember to practise the words out of order as children can be very good at memorising the list of words.
